The City of Temple City takes great pride in the appearance of our neighborhoods.  Therefore, when unsightly graffiti threatens the aesthetics of our city, we do our best to remove the graffiti in a most expeditious manner.  However, the City cannot combat the problem of graffiti alone.  We need the help of our community!

To report graffiti for removal you may call the Public Services Department at (626) 285-2171 or you may call our 24-hour graffiti hotline at (626) 287-5771.

Graffiti on sidewalks, street signs and city property are removed by the City's Maintenance Division.  Graffiti on private property is removed by a graffiti removal company contracted by the City.  Prior to having graffiti removed from private property, the City must have written authorization from the property owner to remove the graffiti.  Once written authorization is obtained, it remains on file for future removal.  Once reported, graffiti is usually removed within 3 - 5 business days.

If you observe a crime in progress, please immediately call the Sheriff's Department by dialing 9-1-1.  If you believe that the situation is not an emergency or does not require an immediate response, please call the regular business line at (626) 285-7171.

Signed authorization forms may be returned to the Public Services Department located at Civic Center, 5938 Kauffman Avenue.  Business  hours are Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Please contact the Public Services Department if you have any questions or concerns regarding graffiti removal.
