Parks and Recreation Department

The Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for the City's recreation and public transportation programs as well as community relations and park maintenance.

The Parks and Recreation Department coordinates the distribution of public information including the quarterly newsletter and press releases.  A variety of recreation programs are offered for youth and adults.  Information on the Camellia Trust Fund, Youth Scholarship Program and the City's volunteer program is also available.  Additionally, the department oversees public transportation programs including Dial-A-Ride, the sale of bus passes and tokens at a reduced rate, bus shelter maintenance and recreational transit programs.
