Live Oak Park provides 16
acres of field and recreation space and serves as the
primary recreational facility in Temple City. The park
provides a large playground area, a
multi-million dollar Community Center, picnic
shelters, barbecues, basketball courts, restroom facilities and lighted athletic fields.
Please remember to leave your dog at home when you visit the
park.
The Live Oak Park
Community Center is used extensively for fee and charge
classes and by non-profit organizations for meetings and
banquets. Registrations and reservations are taken on
site at the Community Center.
Live Oak Park is home to many special
events including the Easter Egg Hunt,
Halloween Carnival, Movies in the Park and Junior High
Dances. A variety of programs and services for older
adults including information and referrals are available at
the Community Center. |

Live Oak Park has 7 tennis courts located at
the east end of the park that are available for use by the
public. Three courts have lights. Tennis court
hours are 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily. Parking is available
adjacent to the courts.

southeast corner of Live Oak Park. The field can be
reserved by non-profit groups with 51% Temple City
residency. |

the center of Live Oak Park. This multi-use turf area and can be reserved by

Regulations, Temple City Municipal Code
The Temple City Municipal
Code prohibits the following in any City park: |
1. Alcoholic Beverages (3569.A)
2. Dogs or other domesticated animals (3569.D)
3. Loud, threatening, abusive, or indecent
language (3569.K)
4. Disorderly conduct (3569.K)
5. Bikes, skateboards and other wheeled toys
(3569.N)
6. Remote control vehicles (3569.O)

7. Carnival type attractions (moonbounce,
inflatables, etc.)
8. Firecrackers, fireworks, rockets, or explosives of
inflammable material (3569.C)
9. Games involving thrown or propelled objects
such as balls, arrows, model airplanes, etc.,
except in areas or fields provided for that
purpose (3567)

Pursuant to section 3585 of the T.C.M.C.,
park staff has the authority to eject from the park any
person violating provisions of the code relative to the
parks. Additionally, pursuant to section 3589, the first
violation of any rule or regulation regarding the parks, is
considered an infraction; subsequent violations shall be
deemed a misdemeanor. |
