Rules and Regulations

Temple City Park is located at the Civic Center Complex - 9701 Las Tunas Drive.  This picturesque park sits on 4 acres and is located adjacent to City Hall and the Los Angeles County Library.

Temple City Park is home to the Performing Arts Pavilion.  The community of Temple City and hundreds of visitors have enjoyed a leisurely afternoon, a family picnic and a variety of special events, including the Festival and Craft Faire and the Camellia Festival held in Temple City Park.  Since the completion of the Performing Arts Pavilion in September 1996, the City has welcomed hundreds of visitors to Temple City Park during the annual Concerts In The Park series.  Concertgoers are able to enjoy a wide variety of entertainment as well as the highly anticipated Independence  Day Celebration annually June through August.

Amenities include a small playground area, 7 picnic tables, 2 barbeques and  restroom facilities.  The park is perfect for a birthday party or family picnic. Shelters do have electricity.  Temple City Park is available for use on a "first come first serve basis." No reservations are required.
   

The Temple City Community Room is available on a reserved basis to Temple City non-profit groups and organizations for meeting purposes only.

Park Rules and Regulations, Temple City Municipal Code

The Temple City Municipal Code prohibits the following in any City park:

1. Alcoholic Beverages (3569.A)
2. Dogs or other domesticated animals (3569.D)
3. Loud, threatening, abusive, or indecent
    language (3569.K)
4. Disorderly conduct (3569.K)
5. Bikes, skateboards and other wheeled toys
    (3569.N)
6. Remote control vehicles (3569.O)
 
7. Carnival type attractions (moonbounce,
    inflatables, etc.)
8. Firecrackers, fireworks, rockets, or explosives of
    inflammable material (3569.C)
9. Games involving thrown or propelled objects
    such as balls, arrows, model airplanes, etc.,
    except in areas or fields provided for that
    purpose (3567)
 
Pursuant to section 3585 of the T.C.M.C., park staff has the authority to eject from the park any person violating provisions of the code relative to the parks. Additionally, pursuant to section 3589, the first violation of any rule or regulation regarding the parks, is considered an infraction; subsequent violations shall be deemed a misdemeanor.
