February 2
Lunar New Year Celebration - Year of the Snake
co-sponsored by the Temple City Chinese American Association at Temple City Park. Activities include entertainment, displays, craft booths, food samples. Event: 1:30 pm - 4 p.m.

February 22-24
Camellia Festival & Carnival
is held at Temple City Park the last weekend in February.  Activities include the Camellia Festival Parade and a 3-day carnival.  A Royal Court of 1st graders are chosen and many local youth organizations walk in the parade.

March 13
Arbor Day sponsored by the Department of Parks & Recreation. Celebrate Arbor Day with a variety of fun activities and tree planting at Temple City Park from 1:30 - 6 p.m. For further information, please call 285-2171 ext. 2360

March 30
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Easter Egg Hunt
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before the Easter Egg Hunt (8 am - 11:30 am)
Breakfast includes: 3 pancakes, sausage or bacon, muffin and your choice of Starbucks coffee, apple or orange juice.
Cost: $5 pre-sale tickets available at the Live Oak Park Annex
beginning March 11.

Easter Egg Hunt (free) held at Live Oak Park. Children ages 1 - 9 can join the Easter egg hunt beginning at 10 am sharp. Free spring crafts offered from 8:30 - 11 a.m, face painting and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

April 5
Spring Fling is held at Live Oak Park Community Center for youth 6th - 8th grade. Enjoy great music, arcade type games, night hunt and dance contest. Tickets may be purchased at the Live Oak Park Annex (Teen Center) PRESALE $10 at the event $15, For more info, call 285-2171 ext. 2360.

May 14
Jazz in the Park, enjoy live music by the Oak Avenue Intermediate School
Jazz Band, TCHS Green Jazz Band and TCHS Gold Jazz Band

June 12 - August 28
Concerts in the Park   Concert schedule available May 2013.  Concerts are held each Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 pm. in Temple City Park. Concerts are free. Beverages and snacks are available for purchase. Country, Classic Rock, and music from all decades can be enjoyed in a fun-family setting.

Rabies Clinic sponsored by the City is held at Temple City Park. Resident dog owners may purchase licenses at the clinic.  $5 per vaccine - Dogs must be on a leash at all times, cats must be in a carrier. More information, please call 285-7187

is held at Temple City Park. 6 - 9 p.m.

August 15
Dining Under The Stars
is held at Temple City Park 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Advance tickets required.  Tickets will be sold at the Live Oak Park Annex and at each Wednesday evening summer concert beginning July 9.
$20 per person - Enjoy an evening of lively entertainment and food sampling from local restaurants, bakeries and caterers.


October 19
12 noon - 4 p.m.
Fall Festival
is co-sponsored with the Temple City High School Vocal Arts Boosters.  Enjoy musical performances from local schools, a craft faire, food, collector's car show, Kids Kountry and a chance to bid on silent auction items. Where: Temple City Park, 9701 Las Tunas Drive

October 31
6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Halloween Carnival offers fun and safety  for youngsters at Live Oak Park. Dress in costume! Fun games and contests all free of charge.
November
 

December 6
Event time:  5 - 9 p.m.  Parade 6 p.m.

Lights on Temple City transforms Temple City Park into a winter wonderland. Snow play areas for children under 12 years, festive entertainment, crafts for children, a mini parade, visits with Santa and the lighting of the 100' redwood tree are enjoyed by young and old.
Holiday Home Decorating Contest -Brighten the streets of Temple City! Residents are encouraged to decorate their homes with colorful lights and decorations. Entry forms available at the Parks & Recreation Department at Live Oak Park & at City Hall.
Gift baskets and yard signs awarded to the winners.
