FEE: $65 per
child - $55 for STARS CLUB members (includes
team jersey & trophy) |
All boys
and girls, 3rd through 6th grades are
invited to join the City's 2010 Flag
Football program. This is a great
opportunity to learn new skills and gain
confidence while being part of a cohesive
team. Two division will be offered: Division
B for grades 5 and 6 - - - Division C for
grades 3 and 4
Each child will be placed on a team
according to their age/grade and the school
they attend. Teams will be offered at
Cloverly, Emperor, Longden and Cleminson
Schools and at Live Oak Park. The first team
meeting will be held at each site on MONDAY,
SEPT. 13 at 3:30 pm to determine practice
days and times. PRACTICES will be held at
each school 2 days per week and league games
will begin on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2 running
through the end of November.
All participants will receive qualified
coaching, participate in league play and
have the opportunity to make the TC All-Star
Team. Everybody will receive a team jersey
and trophy. |

T-Ball will
be offered for boys and girls ages 4 through
7 at Live Oak Park. This program provides an
opportunity to learn sportsmanship, develop
fundamental skills, make new friends and
just have fun! In the 4 - 5 year old
division, participants will hit off of the
tee. Coaches will pitch to players in the 6
- 7 year old division |

Due to popular
demand, the Mini Flag Football program has
been expanded to seven weeks this year. The
program will be offered for boys and girls
ages 4 through 7 at Live Oak Park.
Children will be taught basic skills such as
throwing, catching and kicking. This is not
tackle football. Flag football involves
pulling of flag belts instead of tackling
which is ideal for kids of this age. GAMES
will be played on SATURDAYS, 3:30 - 7:30
p.m. |
