Homework Help Program - STARS Club Sites

Temple City is looking for volunteers to assist elementary aged students  with their homework at STARS CLUB Sites - School locations: Cloverly, La Rosa, Emperor and Cleminson

50 Books for 50 Years - donation drive
In celebration of the City's Golden Anniversary, the community is joining forces to help the Temple City Library meet their goal of 50 Books for 50 Years.  The library has chosen those books and dvds they would like to receive.  Earn 3 service hours by donating a NEW book or DVD to benefit the Los Angeles County Library - Temple City Branch.  To participate - view the WISH LIST - CALL Debbie at City Hall to record your book/dvd choice.  Purchase the item NEW, return to City Hall, 9701 Las Tunas Drive to Debbie at the Parks & Recreation counter.

SHARE YOUR TALENT

Do you have a special talent or interest you'd like to share with others? If so, here's your chance to do just that!  Share Your Talent is geared toward sharing your talent with a group of active senior citizens.  Special interests can include but are not limited to quilting, book review or board game groups, how to use computer email, line dance exercise groups.  For further information, please contact Mary McCune at (626) 579-0461.  This program will be held at the Live Oak Park Community Center.
