LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
Entries Now Being Accepted for Temple City’s First Video Contest
Ready your video cameras and selfie sticks! The City is announcing its first public service announcement (PSA) video contest open to community residents and Temple City students. Not only are there prizes totaling $525 and bragging rights on the line, but these videos can help keep Temple Citians safe.
As part of our #WeGotThisTC campaign, we want to see your best public service announcement video (under 30 seconds) on the theme of why it’s important to wear a face mask.
Winning videos representing three contestant age categories—6-12, 13-17 and 18 and older—will be featured on our social media channels and played on TCTV, found locally on Charter/Spectrum (channel 3) and AT&T U-Verse (channel 99) for subscribers. The selected videos in each category will receive City Council recognition and Visa gift cards: $100 for first place, $50 for second place and $25 for third place.
No fancy camera equipment is needed to participate! Get creative: Sing, dance, rap, perform or send us your best TikTok videos.
Entering is free; start by reviewing the contest rules and entry form. All entries must be received by June 30, 2020.
