Parks and Recreation Month 2023: Where Community Grows 

Temple City is proud to celebrate July as Park & Recreation month. A program of the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA), the goal is raising awareness of the essential services that park and recreation professionals provide to communities across the U.S.  Throughout the month we will promote building strong, vibrant, and resilient communities through the power of Parks and Recreation.  

This year's theme — “Where Community Grows” — celebrates the vital role park and recreation professionals play in bringing people together, providing essential services and fostering the growth of our communities. 

Take part in our Neon Night Walk on Friday, July 28, 2023, 7:30p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Bring your family and friends and enjoy our walking paths in neon colors and black light stations while enjoying music and games! Glow sticks, bracelets, face paint, and more will be available, or you can bring your own. Dress up to make a loud statement!
